Job Description

BC Tecnología, an IT consultancy with extensive experience in portfolio management, project development and outsourcing, is looking for a Senior Database Administrator for a strategic project in the healthcare sector. The objective is to ensure the integrity, availability and optimization of clinical and administrative databases, with a focus on performance, support and regulatory compliance. The project involves migrations, DB structure, high availability implementation and procedure documentation.

Functions
Manage and optimize PostgreSQL clinical and administrative databases; carry out backup, recovery and security of information; execute migrations and structure databases for scalability; guarantee high availability and performance; apply good modeling, maintenance and documentation practices; automate tasks and generate scripts; comply with regulations and standards (Norma 820, Law 19.628); document all actions and keep procedures up to date.

Requirements and profile
Minimum experience of 3 years in the health sector working with clinical data and 5 years in a private company on similar projects. Engineering training in IT or related careers (systems, computing, electronics, biomedical, etc.) with certification in Data Science. Solid experience in PostgreSQL (maintenance, optimization, backups) and knowledge in data modeling and architecture. Ability to work in a regulated environment, oriented to the quality and security of information. Communication skills, proactivity, teamwork and ability to document processes in a clear and reproducible way. Desirable experience in AI and development of web/APP systems linked to biomedical data.

Desireables
Certifications in Data Science and BD Administration with AI. Experience in regulatory compliance and quality standards. Additional knowledge in automation and scripting tools for database processes.
