Functions of the Puesto
We are looking for a
Linux Administrator
with experience in
Debian
to join our infrastructure and development team. You will be responsible for managing servers, downloading applications and ensuring the availability of our systems in the cloud.
Among your main responsibilities will be:
Administration of Linux servers (mainly Debian).
Unlock and maintain applications online
PHP, Python and Node.js
.
Installation, configuration and administration of databases:
MySQL and PostgreSQL
, including clusters and master + slave schemes.
Deploy and optimize PHP applications, mainly:
WordPress
.
Symfony
.
Administration and operation in cloud environments, mainly in
Vultr
.
Implementation and management of
backed up by S3 buckets
.
Management of secrets and credentials
HashiCorp Vault
.

Requirements and Skills
Demonstrable experience in managing Linux systems (Debian).
Knowledge in deploying web applications (PHP, Python, Node.js).
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge in high availability (clusters, replication).
Experience with web servers
Nginx
y PHP-FPM.
Experience in data support in production environments.
Knowledge of security tools and secret management.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers.

Desirable Knowledge and Experience
Automation with
Ansible, Terraform and other IaC tools
.
Experience in monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.).
Good practices
