Job Description

Senior AWS Administrator with solid experience in automation, advanced networking and critical incident resolution in production environments.
Objective of the project:
You will be responsible for managing, optimizing and solving complex problems in AWS infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, operational continuity and SLA compliance through automation and best cloud practices.
Main functions:
• Design, implement and manage network architectures in AWS:
VPCs, Subnets, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, VPC Peering and PrivateLink.
• Configure and manage security components:
Security Groups, NACLs, AWS Network Firewall, WAF and perimeter security policies.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced connectivity problems:
latency, packet loss, DNS, routing, failover and hybrid networking.
• Implement automation and infrastructure as code using:
Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Python, Bash, PowerShell and Ansible.
• Create pipelines and automated processes for operation, compliance and automatic remediation through:
AWS Systems Manager, Lambda, EventBridge and Step Functions.
• Manage and resolve complex L2/L3 incidents related to:
EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, EBS, EFS, RDS, DynamoDB and other managed services.
• Carry out root cause analysis (RCA) and generate preventive and corrective actions.
• Design monitoring and observability strategies using:
CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and logging tools.
• Implement support, recovery and operational continuity strategies:
AWS Backup, snapshots, cross-region replication and Disaster Recovery.
• Participate in cloud governance, security and cost optimization activities (basic FinOps).
• Document procedures, runbooks, technical reports and lessons learned.
• Participate in on-call guards and provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
Requirements:
• Systems Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or similar.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
• Minimum 3 years working directly with AWS.
• Advanced experience in AWS networking and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Python and/or Ansible.
• Solid knowledge in:
EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB/ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway and Direct Connect.
• Domain of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, NAT, firewalls and network segmentation.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience in monitoring and observability tools.
• Management of ServiceNow, Jira or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Desirable:
• AWS Certifications.
• Experience with ECS, EKS and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Experience with cloud security tools:
GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector.
• Knowledge of Azure, GCP or OCI.
• Experience in Managed Services or consultancy environments.
