Purpose of the role
Ensure the availability, integrity, performance and security of corporate databases in OnPremise and Cloud environments, guaranteeing operational continuity and compliance with standards, security policies, always thinking about modernization and cost optimization (FinOps). Maintain an innovative vision that allows you to constantly evaluate new technologies.

Manage and monitor SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis and Sybase databases in OnPremise and Cloud environments. Ensure availability, performance, security and operational continuity of data platforms. Manage backups, restores, incidents, changes, and disaster recovery plans (DRP). Optimize queries, indexes and database performance. Manage Cloud services in Azure, AWS and GCP, ensuring scalability and cost optimization. Design and monitor integration processes and data pipelines (ETL/ELT). Implement security controls, auditing and access management. Configure monitoring, alerts and continuous improvements on the data infrastructure. Participate in support shifts and care for critical contingencies.

Training and experience
Experience managing different database engines in OnPremise and Cloud environments. Experience working with Cloud services in Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
Technical knowledge
Administration of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis and/or Sybase. Monitoring, tuning and performance optimization. Backup, recovery and high availability. Data integration and automation. Architecture and operation of Cloud solutions.
