Job Description

At ACT S.A. We are looking for an Application Server Administrator to join our team on a Freelance basis.

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in administration of middleware platforms and application servers, capable of ensuring the operational continuity, availability and performance of critical technological environments, contributing to the stability of highly demanding business services.

Main functions:
•\ Manage, configure and maintain application servers and middleware platforms in corporate environments.
•\ Implement, update and support environments based on WebLogic, IIS, Apache and Tomcat.
•\ Manage and support development, testing and production environments.
•\ Monitor the performance of the platforms, identifying opportunities for improvement and mitigating operational risks.
•\ Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the availability of services.
•\ Manage vulnerabilities and apply security hardening measures in managed environments.
•\ Coordinate backup, recovery and operational continuity activities of the platforms.
•\ Participate in migration, update and optimization processes of technological infrastructure.
•\ Prepare technical reports, availability reports and documentation associated with the management of the platforms.

Requirements:
•\ Professional title of Engineer in Computer Science, Computer Execution, Systems, Telecommunications or related field.
•\ Complementary training in administration of application servers, Windows Server operating systems, Linux or middleware platforms.
•\ Minimum 7 years' experience in application server administration in highly critical business or industrial environments.
•\ Proven experience in administration, configuration and support of WebLogic, IIS, Apache and Tomcat platforms.
•\ Experience in managing development, testing and production environments.
•\ Knowledge in performance monitoring, vulnerability management and platform maintenance.
•\ Experience in migration, backup and contingency recovery processes.
•\ Experience in preparing technical reports and platform status reports.
•\ Have at least one formal course in application server or middleware administration.

Position conditions:
•\ Contracting modality: Freelance with payment method in fees.
•\ Participation in a rotating on-call scheme outside of business hours, including weekends and holidays.
•\ Shift system and schedules defined in accordance with the operational needs of the project, which will be communicated in advance according to the service planning.
•\ Participation in technological projects of high availability and operational continuity.
•\ Availability to comply with the operational and administrative conditions required by the service.
