Job Functions
At Improving South America we are looking for a
Junior AI Engineer
who is excited to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to contribute to their AI expertise and collaborate on innovative projects that make a difference in various industries.
Develop and train Machine Learning models
, ensuring its correct implementation, validation and adjustment according to business objectives.
Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques
to solve complex problems, integrating LLM, RAG, embeddings and intelligent agent architectures.
Implement good observability and monitoring practices.
into separate models, including tracking key metrics, alerts and logs.
Perform testing, performance measurements, and continuous accuracy improvements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
(data scientists, engineers, products) to align technical solutions with strategic needs.
Using tools and libraries in Python

Job Requirements
English level:
Intermediate/advanced (B2/C1).
Machine learning experience
, including model development and training.
AI forecasting expertise
(excluding), specifically with:
Traditional time series models (ARIMA, Prophet).
Recurrent neural networks (RNN, LSTM).
Transformers applied to prediction.
Multivariable models to make predictions on large volumes of data.
Experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing):
LLM (Large Language Models).
RAG (Recovery Augmented Generation).
Scale.
Intelligent agent architectures.
Good observability and monitoring practices.
Measuring metrics, testing and improving accuracy.
Solid command of Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, among others.
Experience working with large volumes of data and creating ML pipelines.
