Job Description
We are seeking a highly specialized Amazon Account Health Specialist who bridges the gap between legal compliance, e-commerce operations, and cross-departmental documentation. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Law and possess a proven track record in E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
A unique and vital part of this role involves process engineering. You will be responsible for translating complex Amazon policies and legal requirements into actionable internal knowledge. You will work extensively within Guru Cards to build a comprehensive repository of procedural manuals, ensuring that logistics, customer service, and marketing teams have the exact \"playbooks\" needed to maintain a flawless account status.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Compliance & Legal Strategy
- Utilize legal knowledge to interpret Amazon’s Terms of Service and Business Solutions Agreement.
- Manage intellectual property (IP) issues, including trademark, copyright, and patent infringement claims.
- Draft high-stakes Plans of Action (POAs) and legal appeals to resolve account suspensions and listing suppressions.
2. Knowledge Management & Process Documentation (Guru)
- Establish and maintain a \"Source of Truth\": Create, update, and manage procedural manuals and \"How-To\" guides within Guru Cards.
- Cross-Departmental Synergy: Register clear, step-by-step procedures to ensure that other departments (Logistics, Marketing, Sales, CS) understand their impact on account health.
- Workflow Automation: Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring issues such as product authenticity requests, safety complaints, and shipping defects.
- Internal Training: Use Guru to onboard new team members and provide instant access to compliance updates for the entire organization.
3. Account Health & Performance Management
- Proactively monitor the Amazon Account Health Dashboard (AHR) to identify and mitigate risks.
- Oversee critical performance metrics (ODR, LSR, VTR) and implement corrective actions through documented SOPs.
**Required Qualifications**
1. Education
- Juris Doctor (JD), LL.B., or equivalent degree in Law is required.
- Evidence of continuing education or practical experience in E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Experience
- Proven experience in e-commerce compliance or direct Amazon account management.
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing or process documentation (experience with Guru, Notion, or similar KMS is highly preferred).
- Experience drafting administrative appeals or legal responses.
3. Skills & Competencies
- Legal Literacy: Ability to interpret complex contracts and marketplace regulations.
- Excellence in Documentation: Ability to break down complex legal/technical requirements into simple, user-friendly Guru Cards for non-expert staff.
- E-commerce Fluency: Understanding of digital marketing principles and their interaction with compliance rules.
- Detail Orientation: High precision in documentation and data analysis.
