Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr GL Accountant to lead critical General Ledger functions related to corporate card spend, employee expenses, cash, and prepaid expenses.\nThis role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening integrity reporting, and driving process improvements across accounting operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Ledger & Treasury Oversight\nReview monthly Spend & Expense and corporate credit card journal entries\nEnsure accurate mapping to GL accounts and department\nPrepaid Expense Management\nOversee the full prepaid lifecycle\nMaintain and review amortization schedules\nEnsure timely and accurate monthly amortization entries\nReconciliation & Variance Analysis\nPerform monthly bank, credit card, and prepaid GL reconciliations\nConduct detailed flux analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies\nMonth-End Close Leadership\nLead month-end close activities for cash, prepaid, and S&E workstreams\nEnsure accurate and timely journal entries within NetSuite\nAudit Support & Documentation\nMaintain standardized workpapers and roll-forward schedules\nEnsure clean audit trails aligned with internal and external compliance standards\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Accounting (CPA)\nAdvanced english level\n5+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting or financial statement audit\n1 year in a management or lead role (preferred)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, INDEX/MATCH, large data analysis)\nExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems\nStrong experience in complex reconciliations, flux analysis, and prepaid schedule management\nBig 4 or large public accounting firm experience preferred",
