Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst with experience in GCP to be incorporated into an undefined project with a leading socio-retail client.

Purpose of the role:
This role must be responsible for developments related to the collection, analysis and estimation of data value according to business requirements, following the standards and protocols defined by the Business Intelligence team

Required profile:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in the role, ideally for Retail companies.
- Experience in Ecommerce projects
- Experience with BI flows or linked to business
- Special careers: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and Commercial Engineering
- Management of programming languages: Python, SQL
- Experience of at least 2 years in business/data analysis.
- Technical experience of at least 2 years in technologies such as:
Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Looker and Looker Studio
- Experience in intermediate LookML data modeling
o Power Platform: Power BI and Power App
Excel
- English to read and write documents (level B1)

General functions:
- Data Collection: Recognize data from various sources, such as databases, csv files, web APIs, among others.
- Data Preprocessing: Cleaning and formatting data to prepare them for analysis. This can include the elimination of errors, the correction of inconsistencies and the management of missing data.
- Data Transformation: Conversion of data to a format that can be easily analyzed. This can include data normalization, coding of categorical variables and the creation of new variables from existing ones.
- Data Storage: Store transformed data in an easily accessible location for subsequent analysis. This could be in a data warehouse, database or data lake.
- Automation: Creation of automated processes for data collection, preprocessing, transformation and storage tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all processes and operations of the data pipeline, as well as any change or update that takes place.
- Data collection and analysis: Analyzes data, performs trend analysis, categorizes data based on trends, highlighting data correlations. Review results with interested parties, make recommendations to departmental management with respect to data knowledge and carry out models to determine potential impact, risks and escalation points related to security issues.
