Job Description
We are looking for a Finance and Securities Lending Analyst to manage and optimize a portfolio of borrowed and on-lending securities, helping to maximize profitability and minimize risks. The selected person will collaborate with the Trading, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to develop analytical solutions, automate processes and participate in initiatives related to securities financing and tokenized asset infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Identify and take advantage of securities lending and borrowing opportunities in different asset classes, such as stocks, fixed income and ETFs.
Use SQL and artificial intelligence tools to automate processes, develop analytics, and optimize data-driven decision making.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to improve data flows, trading systems and operational efficiency.
Monitor active loans, charge-offs and interest rates to optimize profitability and risk management.
Manage relationships with borrowers, lenders, custodians and other strategic partners.
Assess and manage counterparty, credit and market risks, staying up to date on market and regulatory developments.
Participate in the development of new products and solutions together with securities lending providers.
Design and implement automation solutions for negotiation processes and securities lending operations.
Collaborate in the development of infrastructure and projects related to financing through tokenized shares.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative area.
Between 1 and 3 years of experience in technical, negotiation or positions related to securities lending, short selling or financial operations.
Mastery of SQL, Excel VBA and automation tools based on artificial intelligence.
Experience with the Go programming language will be an advantage.
Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of major financial instruments, including stocks, fixed income, ETFs and cryptocurrencies.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and maintain effective communication.
