At BC Tecnología, an IT consulting firm with a focus on IT services, you will participate in Information Security projects for clients in sectors such as financial services, insurance, retail and government. You will collaborate in strengthening the security framework, supporting compliance and digital transformation initiatives, with an emphasis on solutions that protect critical assets and data.

Main responsibilities
Support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Information Security processes.
Contribute to risk analysis, use of evaluation tools and compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Document and maintain the security governance framework, and support internal and external cybersecurity audits.
Collaborate in the review of compliance with internal policies and standards.
Participate in risk monitoring, controls and action plans; generate security indicators and reports.
Support the identification and treatment of vulnerabilities; collaborate in the implementation of controls and protection measures.
Participate in security awareness initiatives and technological transformation projects.
Manage and control information security assets under established standards.

Requirements and profile
We are looking for a junior professional to support the management of Information Security within a dynamic and constantly evolving IT environment. The ideal candidate must show proactivity, learning capacity and communication skills to work as a team. Training in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or similar will be valued, with basic knowledge of Information Security fundamentals and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or RAN20-10. Basic experience in technological risk management, intermediate/advanced use of Office and analysis tools such as Power BI is expected.
Personal profile: process orientation, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to translate business requirements into security controls. Proactive attitude, ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate in multicultural environments and with high-profile clients.

Desirable
Working knowledge of vulnerability management, experience with security assessment tools, familiarity with access controls, cryptography, incident management and business continuity. Security certifications (e.g. ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISSP, CISM) will be valued. Communication skills in English will be considered a plus.
