Functional Analyst and QA,
Professional oriented to functional analysis and software quality assurance, with the ability to understand business needs and transform them into clear and well-defined functional requirements. Job functions
Features:
Functional analysis of business requirements and translation of them into technical specifications for development teams.
➔
Establish and manage use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria for necessary functionalities.
➔
Create and implement testing strategies (unit, functional, integration, regression, etc.) to ensure that applications meet quality standards.
➔
Realizar pruebas funcionales y hacer seguimiento de los defectos, colaborando con los equipos técnicos para asegurar su correcta resolución.
➔
Automate tests using quality assurance (QA) tools whenever possible, to increase test efficiency and coverage.
➔
Carry out load testing in controlled environments, evaluating application performance in different situations.
➔
Participate in the planning and prioritization stages of testing, ensuring that all critical functionalities are included.
➔
Collaborate in the documentation of test processes and results, generating detailed reports on quality KPIs.
➔
Ensure compliance with business requirements through continuous validation and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and requirements
Preferred QA knowledge:
➔
JIRA or Azure DevOps: To manage tickets, user stories and track defects.
➔
Git: To integrate automated tests into continuous development flows (CI/CD).- TestRail or Zephyr: To manage test cases and track results.
➔
Postman: To perform RESTful API testing.
➔
Jenkins or CircleCI: For continuous integration and test automation.
➔
Gherkin: To design test cases (Given-When-Then)
➔
JMeter: To create and parameterize load test scripts

Desirable skills
Competencies:
Experience in agile environments, with active participation in sprint planning and reviews.
➔
Ability to solve problems and attention to detail, ensuring that functionalities meet established standards.
➔
Ability to work as a team and collaborate with various areas, such as development, product and operations.
➔
Knowledge of automating testing and validation of business applications.
➔
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and previous experience in multidisciplinary teams.
➔
Knowledge of load and performance testing.

Conditions
Conditions
Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification awarded by ISTQB (for QA).
Certification in Business Analysis (IIBA or similar) is an added value.
