Create efficient, secure, and reliable features for global business users. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new capabilities. Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies, Google guidelines, and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
Implements secure coding standards, encryption and best practices for data protection.
Optimizes app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness on a wide range of Android devices.
Integrate applications with backend APIs, WebSocket feeds, and third-party services.
Write end-to-end unit tests, UI tests, and automation scripts to ensure application stability.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and apply high engineering standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on Android development, with a proficiency in Kotlin.
Proven experience delivering and maintaining Android applications in fintech, business, payments, or other high-security environments.
Knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, coroutines, flows and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
Experience with RESTful API integrations, WebSockets, and real-time data management.
Proficiency with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and modular code bases.
Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive designs, and accessibility.
Experience with JUnit, Espresso, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
Knowledge of mobile security, encryption, secure storage and data protection principles.
