Job description
We are looking for a Cloud Architect with experience in Google Cloud Platform to lead the design, implementation and evolution of scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructures. The selected person will work in complex environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and defining technical standards at the architectural level.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation and management of infrastructures in the cloud.
Translate business requirements into scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Design highly available and fault-tolerant architectures using GKE, Compute Engine and BigQuery.
Define and apply secure infrastructure standards, landing zones and good practices in GCP.
Implement observability solutions with Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver).
Define SLI/SLO, configure proactive alerts and use tools such as Cloud Trace and Cloud Logging.
Work in agile teams participating in planning, refinement and continuous delivery.
Manage the architectural backlog and task tracking in Jira.
Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Ansible.
Continuously optimize performance and costs under the Well-Architected GCP framework.
Requirements:
Knowledge of main GCP services (networks, IAM, Cloud SQL, etc.).
Experience with monitoring tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus or Grafana.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Jira domain for managing tasks and work flows.
Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification (very valuable).
Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS is a plus).
Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing.
