Design data architectures in cloud environments that are scalable, secure and aligned with business needs.
Define and implement data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for efficient data ingestion, processing and distribution.
Model data for advanced analytics and consumption by BI and data science tools.
Ensure the quality, governance and availability of data through Data governance and data quality practices.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics and business teams to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging data technologies and tools (data lake/warehouse, data catalog, data virtualization).
Participate in the definition of DataOps and MLOps strategies when applicable, for data operations and ML models.
We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Data Architecture to lead the definition of data solutions in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate business requirements into efficient architectures, with a focus on governance, quality and data security. You will need to collaborate closely with engineering, analytics and business teams to ensure solutions support advanced analytics, reporting and ML models. Experience in financial environments and ability to work on regional projects with real impact will be valued.
We require mastery of ETL/ELT processes, experience in relational and non-relational data modeling, and experience in data lake and/or data warehouse design. Knowledge of Python for data processing is expected, and experience with native AWS, Azure or GCP tools. A Data Governance mindset, data quality and security practices will be key to avoid compliance risks and exposure to sensitive data. We are looking for results-oriented profiles, with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to business stakeholders and with a desire to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Experience with tools such as Spark, Databricks or similar. Knowledge in DataOps and/or MLOps. Experience in modern architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh). Intermediate or higher English.
