At BC Tecnología we are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join a technological modernization initiative and replacement of legacy platforms. The focus of the project is to raise and analyze Banchile's obsolete MDW platforms, identify services and applications that are candidates for migration, and monitor development teams in the evolution of new technologies. We will work with a collaborative approach and agile methodologies, ensuring coherence between current solutions and new initiatives, considering complex technical decisions, integration with existing ecosystems and alignment with the modernization roadmap.

As a Senior Software Architect, we will be responsible for technically leading the modernization of legacy platforms, ensuring a clear migration path and consistent decision making.
Carry out the survey of the main platforms
MDW
obsolete Banchile databases, identifying services and applications that are candidates for migration.
Monitor development teams in modernization initiatives.
Solve complex technical decisions and remove bottlenecks.
Propose, together with the Architecture area, renovation strategies.
Evaluate technical decisions relevant to new or evolutionary projects.
Ensure coherence between existing solutions and new initiatives.
Evaluate technical proposals from suppliers and their alignment with the modernization roadmap.
Support the estimation of energy and costs associated with obsolescence mitigation.

Experience:
minimum
5 years
in senior technical roles.
Role/Specialty:
verifiable experience as a Software Architect, Business Architect or Technical Leader.
Modernization:
experience in technological modernization processes and replacement of legacy platforms.
Technical knowledge:
cloud, hybrid and on-prem architecture; domain-oriented design; integrations, APIs, messaging and events; technical and obsolescence management; DevOps and automation tools.
We will also positively consider the ability to evaluate impacts, prioritize alternatives, communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with development and architectural teams to maintain technological consistency throughout the project.

Architecture and integration with business ecosystems: APIs, integrations, messaging and events.
Experience in managing technical and obsolescence issues in evolution initiatives.
Use of DevOps and automation tools to support deployments and operations.
Relevant knowledge for the stack: JBoss EAP/Fuse (with Switchyard and Apache Camel), Oracle PL/SQL, Spring Boot 2 and 3, RabbitMQ.
