Job Description
The role focuses on making architectural decisions within one or multiple domains, ensuring alignment with Ankorstore's technology vision and supporting the evolution of complex systems in a product environment.
Responsibilities:
Translate long-term architecture strategy into practical designs that squadrons can execute.
Drive adoption of modular, API-first, event-driven, and data-centric design patterns.
Participate in design reviews and challenge proposals with high-level, constructive technical judgment.
Contribute hands-on to complex technical components, refactorings and projects.
Debug and resolve systemic issues in services, infrastructure, and data flows.
Champion performance, scalability and reliability across all squads.
Train senior engineers and elevate their architectural thinking.
Promote engineering practices, raising the standard of code quality, testing, observability and documentation.
Partner with product, data and platform leaders to create cohesive solutions.
Ensure technical solutions directly support brand operating system strategy and service expansion.
Identify long-term opportunities to improve foundations and reduce complexity.
Requirements:
8+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in Staff+, Tech Lead or equivalent Senior IC positions.
Ability to design, develop and scale complex systems.
Experience architecting initiatives within fast-paced product organizations.
Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and domain modeling.
Proficiency in one or more of Ankorstore's core backend languages: PHP or Golang.
Communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
English proficiency.
