Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect and Technical Lead to lead the design and evolution of our online banking services, built on a containerized microservices architecture deployed on highly available on-premise infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of architecture, development and security, defining the target architecture, technically guiding the team and ensuring scalable, secure and high-performance platforms. TOGAF, ISAQB, SEI Architecture Certificates. \nResponsibilities:\n Design and evolve high-performance, scalable and resilient microservices with Java (11 and 21) and Spring Boot.\n Define the target architecture of online banking services, with a focus on low latency and high throughput.\n Design REST APIs and distributed systems, as well as their integration with the banking core and internal/external services.\n Package and deploy services in Docker containers on on-premise infrastructure. (Oracle Linux), with container orchestration and monitoring (Portainer).\n Implement modern security controls: TLS 1.3, payload and at-rest encryption,\nkey management, token authentication (JWT / JWE) and banking device fingerprinting for fraud prevention.\n Establish code standards, good practices and CI/CD pipelines (Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Docker) that ensure continuous deliveries and reliable.\n Support and optimize on-premise software infrastructure (containers, virtualization, storage and networks) to guarantee availability and operational continuity between main and contingency datacenter.\n Technically guide the development team through mentoring, code reviews and design decisions.\n Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in distributed and production environments.\nRequirements:\n Degree in Systems/Software Engineering or similar.\n 8+ years developing in Java, with experience proven in microservices and distributed systems.\n Proficiency in Java (11 and 21), Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Gateway.\n Solid experience with Docker containers and deployment in on-premise infrastructure (Linux).\n Experience in microservices architecture, REST API design and high throughput and low latency systems.\n Knowledge of modern security: TLS 1.3, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, JWT/JWE, key management (keystores) and fingerprinting/anti-fraud schemes.\n Experience with CI/CD (Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Docker) and DevOps practices.\n Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.\n\nWorking conditions:\n100% remote work.\nContract for provision of services.\nSalary: $10,000,000\nHours: 8am to 5pm",
