We are looking for a generalist 3D artist to join a video game development team, responsible for the creation, optimization and integration of 3D assets in Unity. The selected person will participate in the entire artistic workflow, from modeling to engine implementation, collaborating with design, programming and art teams.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality 3D models for characters, environments and props using Maya.
Apply textures and materials according to project requirements.
Develop animations for characters and objects with fluid and coherent movements.
Integrate assets into Unity following good development practices.
Optimize resources for mobile platforms without compromising visual quality.
Collaborate with designers, programmers and artists for the correct integration of assets.
Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Incorporate feedback from the senior team and adjust work accordingly.
Maintain clear documentation of processes and workflows.
Work autonomously, managing priorities and deadlines.
Stay updated on techniques, tools and trends in the sector.
Requirements:
Mastery of Maya for modeling, texturing, rigging and 3D animation.
Experience with Unity and integration of assets into the engine.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite and Substance Painter.
Understanding of 3D art principles (topology, polygons, rigging, skinning and animation).
Knowledge of version control systems (Git valuable).
Understanding of video game design and development, especially mobile games.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Portfolio with works in modeling, texturing and animation.
Experience in video games.
Knowledge of tools such as ZBrush or Premiere (valuable).
Familiarity with management tools such as Jira, Slack or similar (valuable).
