The position is oriented towards the creation and animation of visual elements for casino games, working with characters, environments, icons and user interfaces using png and spine sequences within a video game development team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with studio head and game designers to animate characters, environments, icons, user interfaces and other game elements using png and spine sequences.
Design and produce presentations, game transitions, animations and other elements for casino games.
Work alongside front end developers to deliver artistic resources in the formats required for implementation.
Ensure the compression and optimization of resources for different compatible devices.
Stay up to date on theme trends and major competitors in the gaming industry, suggesting themes and improvements for upcoming games based on research.
Help game designers quickly visualize their game ideas.
Stay up to date with industry standard tools and techniques.
Communicate ideas and concepts throughout the organization.
Requirements:
Submit a portfolio of personal work that includes character animations in different styles.
Be meticulous, proactive and with attention to detail.
Provide reasonable project estimates and meet deadlines.
Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Maya and Spine.
Have intermediate to advanced knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing.
Have experience creating storyboards, art guidelines, mood boards and concept art with fast turnaround times.
Have an understanding of anatomy, body mechanics and composition.
Be adaptable to new animation styles, game animation production tools and workflows.
Have a good eye for color theory, composition and rendering.
