Job Description

We are looking for a professional specialized in language, linguistics, literature, communication, Spanish teaching or related areas, with verifiable experience in Higher Secondary Education, to develop educational content aimed at high school students.

The person must have disciplinary strength in the study and use of language and communicative processes, as well as the ability to explain linguistic, textual and narrative phenomena through a language accessible to adolescents.

In addition to conceptual mastery, we are looking for a profile capable of converting disciplinary content into contextualized learning experiences, preventing the study of language from being reduced to the memorization of concepts, classifications or definitions.
Responsibilities
•\ Develop theoretical content and activities related to language, communication, textuality and narration.
•\ Explain linguistic and communicative concepts with disciplinary rigor and a language suitable for Higher Secondary Education students.
•\ Integrate phenomena of fiction and reality, popular narratives, orality and contemporary communicative manifestations.
•\ Incorporate current communication and narrative production formats, such as podcasts, scripts and other relevant digital media.
•\ Design contextualized activities that allow the student to use linguistic and communicative knowledge to interpret or produce messages in specific situations.
•\ Collaborate with the Pedagogy and Editing areas and address observations derived from the editorial process.
•\ Comply with established guidelines, formats, schedules and delivery dates.
Academic training
Bachelor's degree completed, preferably, in:
•\ Linguistics, Hispanic Letters, Language and Literature, Literature, Spanish Teaching, Communication, Applied Linguistics.

Education or Pedagogy profiles may also be considered when they prove disciplinary training or sufficient professional experience in language, communication, linguistics or teaching Spanish.

Essential experience:

•\ Verifiable teaching or professional experience in Higher Secondary Education.
•\ Mastery of linguistic, textual, narrative and communicative content.
•\ Experience in designing activities, teaching sequences, materials or educational content for adolescents.
•\ Ability to translate specialized disciplinary knowledge into understandable explanations without losing conceptual rigor.
•\ Demonstrable ability to create contextualized, meaningful and relevant activities for high school students.
•\ Excellent writing and command of the conventions of written Spanish.
Desirable knowledge and skills
•\ Linguistics and discourse analysis.
•\ Popular literature and narratives.
•\ Reading, writing and oral processes.
•\ Text production and editing.
•\ Digital communication and multimodal formats.
•\ Teaching design and learning evaluation.
•\ Knowledge of the current context of Higher Secondary Education in Mexico.
