Cloud Platform Engineer – Azure & Automation
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Cloud Platform Engineer with extensive programming abilities with Python, Typescript or NodeJS, an in-depth cloud background with Azure and AWS, and DevOps experience to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.

Project:
The Bank is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the Bank’s cloud strategy, which is focused on innovation and leveraging rapidly emerging cloud native services to meet the rapidly evolving needs of their customers.
The Cloud DevOps Automation Team is focused on the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the core Cloud Platforms across the Bank.
The Cloud Platform Engineer will help evolve the core cloud platform, by leveraging emerging best practices and tools, securely connecting to our strategic cloud suppliers, providing a platform for innovation for the entire Bank.
Job Description:
Design, implement and integrate the bank’s Cloud Platform, core, and shared services.
Design, implement and manage
hybrid
cloud connectivity and intra-cloud networking.
Develop patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability, and security.
Ensure that all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance standards and controls.
Be the major contributor to IaC modules: develop new modules, maintain existing modules.
Design and plan enterprise-scale cloud environments including application dependencies, data storage and flow, network connectivity and overall cloud hosting.
Develop and maintain up-to-date architectural templates, build an operational documentation of the technical environment.
Continuously enhance the capability, security, and experience of the enterprise
Hybrid
