What You Will Do:
• Review dental treatment records and verify billing accuracy
• Assign correct CDT codes and modifiers to procedures
• Submit electronic claims to insurance providers
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve denials
• Communicate with dental providers and insurance companies to resolve disputes
• Stay current with dental billing guidelines and reimbursement procedures

What We Are Looking For:
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Dental Biller
• Proficiency in CDT coding systems
• Experience with dental billing software and EHR platforms
• Strong understanding of U.S. dental insurance processes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Certification in dental billing is a plus, but not required

• Windows 11 (64-bit) - genuine and activated
• Windows 10 (64-bit) - supported only until February 2025
• Mac and Huawei devices are NOT allowed

Hardware:
• Reliable processor: Intel Core i5, i7, i9 or AMD Ryzen 3,5,7 or higher
• At least 8GB to 12GB RAM
• Functional webcam and noise-canceling headset
• Antivirus software installed and active
• Backup power source recommended
• Storage and Browser: At least 128GB (preferrable SSD)

Internet:
• Stable, high-speed connection
• Wired connection preferred
• Download: At least 25 Mbps (Cable/DSL/Fiber)
• Upload: At least 16 Mbps

• Is MEDVA HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. We follow strict HIPAA standards and train all VAs to handle patient information securely.

• Does MEDVA offer bilingual Spanish/English accounts?
Yes. We have clients who require bilingual virtual assistants.

Yes, MEDVA uses Time Doctor 2 for productivity monitoring.

• Do we get paid PTO and holidays?
Paid time off (PTO), holidays, bonuses, and paid breaks may be offered depending on your client. Many of our clients provide these as part of their work arrangements, while others may follow different setups based on business needs.

• Does MEDVA provide PC/Laptop devices or the internet?
No. Applicants must use their own device and internet connection.
