Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Background Coordinator to support our recruitment and onboarding operations by processing candidate background checks and ensuring timely completion of pre-employment requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and excellent communication skills to interact with candidates, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Initiate and monitor candidate background checks and pre-employment screenings
* Review background reports for completeness and accuracy
* Follow up with candidates regarding missing documentation or outstanding requirements
* Coordinate with background screening vendors and internal teams to ensure timely processing
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within tracking systems and databases
* Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations
* Escalate discrepancies or issues identified during the screening process
* Provide regular updates to recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership teams
* Support onboarding activities related to candidate clearances and documentation
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive candidate information at all times

Desired Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in background screening, onboarding, recruitment coordination, or administrative support preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to manage high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR systems, or background screening platforms is an asset
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
* Ability to handle confidential information professionally and securely
