The ideal candidate will be able to read medical quickly and legal records, which may be handwritten or typed, and identify pages which are relevant to the clients legal case. \nResponsibilities: \nReview evidence (veterans medical files) and flag pages which are relevant to medical conditions that have been identified.\nAssociate evidence pages to one or more conditions under review.\nHighlight important areas of pages.\nWhen requested, author a medical opinion related to the likelihood of a medical condition being related to a veterans service or service-connected condition.\nRequirements:\n1+ years of experience on research and review of medical treatment records.\nMedical knowledge is a must.\nThe ability to review large quantities of pages of medical and service records with a high degree of accuracy.\nAssociate page numbers of medical files with medical conditions.\n1+ years of experience in Strong understanding of medical conditions, diagnoses, and disease progression\n1+ years of experience in Ability to interpret medical records (EHRs, physician notes, imaging reports)\nNice to have knowledge in Familiarity with disability evaluations / VA-related conditions\n1+ years of experience in Medical record review & evidence identification\n1+ years of experience in Ability to link medical evidence to specific conditions\n1+ years of experience in Ability to write clear, structured medical opinions\n1+ years of experience in Experience in medical summarization / report writing\n1+ years of experience in Ability to explain medical causation logically\n1+ years of experience in Understanding of medical-legal documentation\n1+ years of experience in Familiarity with disability claims / VA process (VARO, BVA, CAVC nice to have)\n1+ years of experience in Ability to review large volumes of records quickly",
