Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Bilingual Sales Support Specialist to assist with inbound automotive finance leads, customer pre-qualification, and CRM follow-up. This role is focused on supporting customers who have already expressed interest in purchasing a vehicle and submitted a credit application through the dealership website.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish with clear, neutral communication skills in both languages, strong customer service abilities, and the confidence to guide customers through the financing documentation process. This is not a cold-calling sales role — customers are already interested and actively working toward purchasing a vehicle. The role is centered around building trust, collecting required information, maintaining organized CRM notes, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the dealership finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Pre-Qualification & Follow-Up
- Follow up with inbound leads promptly after credit applications are submitted.
- Communicate with customers via phone, text, and email in both English and Spanish.
- Guide customers through the financing documentation process.
- Collect required information including proof of income, pay stubs, driver’s license copies, and supporting finance documents.
- Answer customer questions regarding the next steps in the vehicle financing process.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and reassuring communication style with customers.
- Help customers understand financing timelines and dealership processes.
- Build rapport and establish trust with customers throughout the interaction.
- Ensure all required information is gathered accurately and completely.
- Transfer completed customer files to the finance director for final processing.
CRM & Administrative Support
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes inside the CRM system.
- Track customer progress from initial lead through financing submission.
- Manage lead follow-up activities consistently and in a timely manner.
- Update customer records and communication logs daily.
- Ensure customer files are organized and properly documented.
- Monitor open leads and maintain consistent communication until the file is completed.
- Coordinate internally with dealership staff and finance personnel.
- Use DealerCenter CRM to manage leads, customer information, and workflow tasks.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish required.
- Clear, neutral-speaking communication style with minimal accent preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable handling phone conversations and customer follow-up.
- Highly organized with strong note-taking and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive sales support, sales assistance, finance support, customer service, or lead management is a plus.
- Ability to remain patient and professional while working with high-urgency customers.
- Reliable, consistent, and dependable work history preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes.
