The Role
We’re looking for an experienced
Business Data Analyst
to enable users to get the most out of a cloud-based data platform. Working for a large and well-known Insurance organisation, you’ll act as the key link between the business and the development team, helping enable stakeholders to get the most out of a sophisticated data and analytics platform, shaping how solutions are designed, tested, and delivered.
Responsibilities
• Act as the platform SME for business users, enabling teams to get the most out of the platform’s tools and features
• Translate business problems into clear concepts for the development team to implement platform enhancements
• Support solution design by clarifying business logic, data needs, and workloads
• Perform functional QA testing on rules, data pipelines, dashboards, and user interfaces
Required Experience
• Experience as a Business Data Analyst or Data Platform Specialist
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical language
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or a similar data platform
• Strong data skills (SQL queries, data validation etc.) and exposure to QA testing
• Passion for technology, problem solving, and continuous improvement
• Experience working in a regulated industry is preferred
