Job Description

What is a BDR really doing here?

The BDR is responsible for identifying companies that may need our services and opening conversations with them.

The goal is to generate opportunities for the sales team.

The BDR does not quote or close sales.

Your job is to open doors.

Commercial flow

The business process works like this:

BDR

Setter/SDR

Closer

The BDR creates opportunities.

Setter validates and qualifies leads.

The closer performs diagnosis and closure.

This allows each role to focus on what they do best.

Responsibilities

research potential companies
identify business decision makers
start business conversations
make business cold calls
contact prospects via LinkedIn
generate initial interest in projects
record activities in CRM
transfer leads to qualification team
Job activities

Prospecting through:

business calls
LinkedIn
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
internet research
analysis of industrial parks
identification of expanding companies
Position KPIs

The position operates with clear indicators.

Minimum weekly activity:

300 calls made

Approximate equivalent:

50 calls daily

Goal of generated opportunities:

20 opportunities per week

Expected quality:

80% acceptance by the sales team
