What we expect from you:
The role of the Compliance Auditor is to coordinate, perform, and document compliance audits to assess adherence to relevant federal, state, and international laws and regulations; contractual requirements; Cadex corporate policies; information security requirements; and privacy regulations. This position supports audit readiness across all Cadex entities, employees, vendors, and locations by identifying risks, validating controls, and driving timely corrective actions.
Primary Job duties:
1. Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned compliance audits (remote and on-site as applicable) across Cadex entities, functions, vendors, and locations.
2. Develop audit scopes, objectives, criteria, and test plans based on applicable laws/regulations, contractual requirements, Cadex policies, information security standards, and privacy obligations.
3. Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, and control testing; collect, validate, and analyze evidence to determine compliance and control effectiveness.
4. Maintain complete and accurate audit workpapers, audit schedules, and evidence repositories in accordance with internal standards and retention requirements.
5. Prepare clear audit reports that document observations, risk ratings, root causes, and corrective action recommendations; track remediation plans to closure and perform follow-up validation.
Non-Exhaustive List of Tasks:
- Back- Office tasks
- Monitor regulatory, privacy, and information security developments and translate changes into updated audit criteria, checklists, and testing procedures.
- Partner with Information Security, Privacy, Legal, HR, Operations, and regional teams to drive audit readiness, clarify requirements, and resolve evidence gaps.
- Assist in maintaining the enterprise audit calendar, audit metrics, and management reporting (e.g., audit status, recurring themes, and remediation progress).
Requirements:
- Be a University/Technician student, preferably in Information Security Engineering, Systems Engineering / Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering/Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Law
- Experience in Information Security standards or relevant IT background
- Experience in physical security requirements or general security standards
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking/multi-system and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment in shared tasks and projects
- Basic math skills
