We are looking for a Patient Access Consultant (Freelance)! \nSpecialty: Rare and Neurodegenerative Diseases (MS, SMA, ALS, Ataxia) \nRole Description:\nAre you a nursing professional passionate about transforming the lives of patients with highly complex diseases? We are looking for a strategically minded Patient Navigator to guide people with diagnoses of Multiple Sclerosis, SMA, ALS and Friedrich's Ataxia through the complex nodes of the Mexican healthcare system.\nYour mission will be to eliminate administrative and clinical barriers to ensure that the patient receives their treatment in a timely manner, acting as the critical link between the doctor, the public/private institution and the Support Program (PSP).\nKey Responsibilities (Deliverables):\nClinical Record Management: Ensure that patient documentation meets the requirements of the Pharmacy Committees (COFA) and teaching areas.\nInstitutional Navigation: Guide the patient in the referral and counter-referral processes in Second and Third Level hospitals (IMSS, ISSSTE, National Institutes).\nAdherence Monitoring: Application of clinical scales (ALSFRS-R, EDSS, etc.) and pharmacovigilance monitoring.\nPatient Education: Training in application technique (if applicable) and management of the pathology at home.\nReporting: Preparation of access status reports and timely detection of risks of shortages.\nIndispensable Requirements:\nAcademic training: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Title and Federal Professional License essential).\nExperience: minimum 2 to 3 years working with the public health system in Mexico (specifically high specialty protocols in IMSS or ISSSTE).\nKnowledge in Neurology: Familiarity with biotechnological and high specialty treatments.\nConcierge Skills: High capacity for problem solving, empathy and assertive communication with specialist doctors.\nAvailability: Flexible schedule for managing procedures and home/hospital visits.\nWhat do we offer?\nFee payment scheme (Freelance) highly competitive.\nDeep training in cutting-edge pathologies and therapies.\nThe opportunity to be the decisive factor in access to health for patients with critical needs.",
