I - ABOUT ECOLAND

Ecotierra is a leading organization in the development of sustainable solutions for land use, climate financing and strengthening agricultural value chains in Latin America.
We are currently promoting Urapi II, an investment fund focused on regenerative land use systems, with the objective of generating measurable impacts on climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation and rural economic development.
We are looking for a highly specialized consultant to lead the design and implementation of our impact architecture and gender strategy.

II- OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSULTING

Design a comprehensive impact architecture for Urapi II and Ecotierra, aligned with international standards and the expectations of investors, development financial institutions (DFIs), catalytic capital providers, commodity buyers and carbon markets.

III - MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE OF WORK

Phase 1: Diagnosis: Analyze the current situation of Ecotierra, its indicators, systems and good market practices.
Phase 2: Theory of Impact: Build a Theory of Change (ToC) and a common impact thesis for the entire organization.
Phase 3: KPI Framework: Design strategic, operational and compliance indicators, including gender metrics and future impact estimates.
Phase 4: Impact and Gender Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy that incorporates gender, governance, monitoring and accountability mechanisms.
Phase 5: Operational Integration: Incorporate the indicators and strategy into internal processes, monitoring systems, reports and investment instruments.

Deliverables from the consultant:
1.\ Initial report.
2.\ Diagnosis and comparative analysis.
3.\ Impact Theory and Theory of Change.
4.\ Preliminary KPI framework and impact estimation.
5.\ Final KPI framework.
6.\ Impact and Gender Strategy.
7.\ Operational integration package.
8.\ Updated fundraising materials.

IV - REQUIRED PROFILE

1. Training:
• Professional in Administration, Economics, Finance, International Development, Environmental Sciences, Forestry Engineering or related careers.
• Specialization or postgraduate studies related to sustainability, ESG, impact measurement or sustainable finance (desirable).

2. Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting or project management related to:
- Sustainable finance or blended finance.
- Impact measurement and management.
- Climate change and nature-based solutions.
- Biodiversity and sustainable value chains.
- Gender and inclusion in investments.

3. Languages
• Advanced English essential.
• Spanish and French desirable

4. Technical Knowledge desirable
• IFC Performance Standards.
• IRIS+.
• HIPSUS.
• OPIM.
• Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
• 2X Challenge.
• Monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) systems.
• Preparation of KPIs and ESG indicators.
