Job Summary\nThe Financial Planning and Accounting Specialist will be responsible for leading daily accounting operations, supervising the team, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring financial statements, including variance analysis and explanations. This role works directly with the Vice President of Accounting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and providing comprehensive support in the accounting cycle within a growing financial company.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead daily accounting operations, including staff supervision and review of balance sheet reconciliations.\nMonitor financial statements, perform variance analysis and explain significant changes.\nManage technical accounting processes throughout the year, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.\nReview balance sheet and transactions; analyze income and expenses to detect errors.\nExecute monthly closings: allocations, tax provisions and timely preparation of financial statements.\nOrganize and analyze financial statements, monthly reports and cash flow.\nCoordinate activities between departments to ensure the integrity of financial statements.\nPrepare documentation and respond to audits.\nUpdate and maintain accounting policies and procedures.\nAct as a liaison between internal and external teams, fostering collaborative relationships.\nRequirements and skills\nEnglish: Level C1 (essential).\nSolid experience in technical accounting and team management.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nInterpersonal skills to interact on an international and multicultural level.\nAbility to train and develop accounting teams.\nExcellent communication, organization and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team.\nAbility to solve problems and manage resources to comply objectives.\nStrict management of confidentiality.",
