We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Credit Specialist Supervisor / Team Lead to lead a team of Credit Specialists within a fast-paced consumer lending environment.\nThis person will be responsible for overseeing the daily credit review and loan verification process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, productivity, and service quality across the team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in consumer financing, loan processing, underwriting, and credit analysis, combined with proven leadership skills and the ability to coach, support, and develop a high-performing team.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise and support a team of Credit Specialists, ensuring individual and team goals are consistently achieved.\nOversee the daily loan and credit review pipeline, ensuring applications are processed accurately and within established timelines.\nMonitor the quality and accuracy of loan documentation, credit reviews, income verification, and consumer information.\nEnsure compliance with lending requirements and regulations, including Identity Verification, KYC, OFAC, MLA, Regulation B, and TILA.\nReview complex or escalated credit applications and provide guidance on credit-related decisions.\nSupport Credit Specialists in resolving customer, documentation, underwriting, and verification issues.\nMonitor team productivity, performance metrics, service levels, and quality standards.\nProvide ongoing coaching, feedback, training, and development to team members.\nConduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.\nHelp distribute workload and manage the teams daily pipeline to ensure appropriate coverage and productivity.\nAssist with escalated customer or merchant inquiries when necessary.\nCollaborate with internal departments and external parties to resolve loan-processing or documentation issues.\nSupport the development and implementation of workflows, procedures, and best practices for the department.\nEnsure the team completes required compliance training and remains up to date with regulatory policies and procedures.\nPrepare or communicate team performance updates to management as required.\nThe original Credit Specialist role includes responsibility for credit review, pipeline management, document verification, customer communication, process improvement, and regulatory compliance. \nRequirements\nMinimum 23 years of experience in consumer financing, loan processing, underwriting, credit analysis, or a related lending environment.\nPrevious experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, Senior Credit Specialist, or similar leadership role is strongly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of:\nConsumer lending\nLoan processing\nUnderwriting\nCredit analysis\nCredit bureau reports\nIncome verification\nCredit risk\nLending compliance\nExperience working with lending regulations and compliance processes such as KYC, OFAC, TILA, Regulation B, MLA, or similar requirements.\nAbility to review and analyze consumer credit and financial information.\nStrong leadership and people-management skills.\nAbility to provide effective coaching, feedback, and performance management.\nStrong problem-solving and critical decision-making skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and a high-volume loan pipeline.\nComfortable working in a metrics-driven and fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.\nThe base JD specifically requires knowledge of loan processing, underwriting, credit reports, risk, compliance, financial analysis, communication, multitasking, and critical decision-making.\n Compensation & Conditions\nSalary: COP $5,500,000 per month\n Salary is negotiable depending on the candidates experience and background.\nWork Model: 100% remote\nContract: Indefinite-term employment contract\n Schedule\nMonday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.\nCandidates must have full availability during the established working hours.\n Benefits\n Computer equipment delivered 100% door-to-door by the company\n A day off for your StaffingAbroad anniversary\n A day off for your birthday\n Indefinite-term employment contract\n International exposure\n Prepaid medical plan\n Online courses\n 100% work from home",
