The candidate will be one of the first members of the new area of Artificial Intelligence – which will be developed with Modelab – of one of the Chilean companies with the most international recognition, with thousands of employees in Chile and abroad. The candidate will work with data mathematics experts, industrial process engineers, and the company's business area, solving problems of real industrial relevance and high added value, and in interaction with international teams. Main functions
Design, develop and validate analytical models to optimize industrial and operational processes.
Perform descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics to support decision-making in manufacturing and maintenance.
Implement machine learning and statistical solutions with experimental validation and monitoring of KPIs.
Collaborate with engineering, operations and business to define requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Direct automation and improvement initiatives continue, promoting good modeling practices and data governance.
Mentor colleagues and foster a learning environment and constant improvement.
Communicate achievements and results clearly to stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements - desired profile
We are looking for professionals with demonstrable experience in data science applied to industrial processes. Must have solid foundations in statistics, machine learning and data analysis, as well as experience in manufacturing or engineering processes. Knowledge in predictive maintenance, process optimization and experience with analysis tools and data visualization will be valued. Skills to work in multifunctional teams are expected, the ability to explain complex results clearly and guide business results. Minimum requirements: proven experience as a Senior or Expert Data Scientist, handling of Python, SQL and data analysis tools; knowledge of experimentation and validation methodologies; ability to work in dynamic and changing environments; technical English.
Requirements – bonus
Experience in industrial projects, knowledge of industrial data platforms, predictive maintenance and process optimization. Desirable experience in leading teams and mentoring other data scientists. Effective communication and presentation skills, analytical thinking, curiosity for continued improvement and guidance for business results.
