You will contribute to the construction and maintenance of data solutions that support analytics, reporting and operational decision making across the organization.
Working closely with data engineers and other technological profiles, you will support the platforms that will permanently transform data into relevant insights for teams.
In this role, you will focus on the management of data platforms and their overall performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, improve existing systems, and deliver solutions that respond to business needs.

Monitor and maintain the health, availability and performance of instances of
snowflake
and
Data bricks
, using native tools and internal standards
Periodically review usage metrics, system logs, and resource consumption to detect and address anomalies
Ensure the implementation of updates, patches and backups in accordance with defined policies and standards.
Investigate incidents and service degradations, managing their resolution or escalation to minimize the impact on the business.
Manage the complete access cycle: provision, deprovision and aspension of roles in Snowflake and Databricks, guaranteeing compliance with security standards
Implement and audit data access controls, working closely with security teams (InfoSec) and platform leaders.
Keeps groups, permissions and access updated according to organizational changes or project needs.
Act as the main point of contact for technical support and incidents related to the platforms.
Advise teams on good practices for efficient and safe use of platforms (cost optimization, data exchange, order of workspaces)
Maintain clear and up-to-date platform documentation (onboarding, FAQs, troubleshooting guides)

University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
+2 years of experience managing platforms
snowflake
and
Data bricks
(or at least one with solid knowledge of the other)
domain of
SQL
, scripts (
Python and Shell
) and cloud data ecosystems (
AWS, Azure and GCP
)
Knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Databricks CLI/API, among others)
Experience managing users, roles and security controls in regulated environments.
Ability to diagnose and resolve platform problems.
Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
Intermediate English - advanced or advanced (essential due to meetings with international teams)
