Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining backend systems for e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, OXID, Shopware, Gambio and headless platform Makaira. It includes the design and implementation of secure and high-performance APIs, integrations with third-party services, optimization and scalability of existing backend systems, as well as the incorporation of new technologies and tools to improve development processes. It also covers troubleshooting and error correction to maintain operational stability.
Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of backend systems for e-commerce platforms.
Design and implementation of secure and high-performance APIs, and integrations with external services.
Optimization and scalability of existing backend systems.
Collaboration with frontend developers and project managers to guarantee the interaction between frontend and backend.
Integration of new technologies and tools to improve development processes.
Troubleshooting and error correction to maintain operational stability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Multimedia Computing or equivalent qualification.
Professional experience in backend development, preferably in e-commerce.
Knowledge of PHP, including frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, OXID, Shopware, Gambio and Makaira.
Experience in full-stack development (e.g. JavaScript, Vue.js, React) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and problem-solving skills to a quality level.
