Join our team as a Backend + AI Developer at Aeolabs.\nGeneral responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain end-to-end functionalities following functional and technical specifications.\nDesign and expose RESTful APIs.\nImplement error handling and structured logging.\nWrite unit and integration tests.\nParticipate in code reviews and maintain quality and style standards.\nParticipate in agile ceremonies. (planning, refinement, daily, review, retro).\nContribute to technical documentation (endpoints, flows, design decisions).\nUse AI as support (planning, code generation, refactor, documentation, tests).\nWork with specifications (SDD) as a source of truth between design and implementation. Specific responsibilities (Backend / Go)\nDesign and develop scalable and maintainable backend services.\nImplement RESTful APIs and business logic aligned with domain rules.\nIntegrate and model data in relational and non-relational bases.\nEnsure performance, security and observability of services.\nParticipate in technical decisions that affect the complete flow of functionalities.\nExpected technologies and competencies\nGo (Golang) as the main backend language.\nPrinciples of clean architecture, layer separation and RESTful API design.\nConcurrency in Go (goroutines, channels, synchronization, context propagation) applied with criteria.\nTesting in Go (unitary/integration) and use of standard tooling (go test, race detector, etc.).\nStructured logging, metrics and basic monitoring.\nDatabases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis (modeling, queries, basic indexes).\nIntermediate knowledge of Node.js / Express for support services or tooling is a plus.\nFamiliarity with containers (Docker) and management of environment variables and deployments.\nKnowledge of messaging and queuing systems (for example, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ or NATS) applied to the design of asynchronous flows and integration between services.\nRequirements general\nComputer Engineer Degree, Programmer Analyst or related career.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in web application development (backend).\nVerifiable experience with Go in productive environments.\nExperience working with AI tools in the development flow, reviewing, correcting and complementing what is generated by models.\nAbility to apply Spec-Driven Development (SDD) principles.\nGood control practices of versions (Git) and collaborative work through pull requests.\nDesirable\nExperience in projects in the health area or clinical systems/HIS.\nHaving worked with GitHub Spec Kit or other SDD-oriented tools.\nExperience supervising AI-assisted code (for example, as a reviewer of PRs generated with agents).\nWe are looking for someone who uses AI as an accelerator, not as an autopilot.
