Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Developer with solid experience in developing APIs, integrations, databases and highly critical backend processes. We are looking for a profile with technical criteria, quality orientation and the ability to function in demanding productive environments, participating in the evolution of transactional platforms, internal services and integrations with third parties.

The position is aimed at professionals who have between 3 and 5 years of experience in backend development, with command of PHP and Laravel, as well as experience in the design and maintenance of scalable, secure and well-structured services. We especially value the ability to work with complex business logic, asynchronous processes, operational traceability and good architecture and development practices.

Main functions

- Develop, maintain and optimize backend APIs for the different services of the financial ecosystem.
- Implement new functionalities on current platforms and participate in the evolution of new projects and legacy systems.
- Develop integrations with third parties through APIs, webhooks and other secure communication mechanisms.
- Design and improve asynchronous processes using queues and decoupled services.
- Ensure the integrity of critical processes through validations, transactions, concurrency controls and idempotence.
- Optimize SQL queries, data structures and overall application performance.
- Participate in technical testing, code review and functional and technical documentation.
- Collaborate in the identification and resolution of complex incidents in productive environments.
- Implement and maintain security measures in APIs and backend services.
- Contribute to event traceability, log recording and continuous improvement of platform stability.

Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of experience in backend development on productive environments.
- Proficiency in PHP and solid experience with Laravel.
- Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization and transaction management.
- Experience in consumption and webhook design.
- Management of asynchronous processes with Redis, SQS or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of authentication and security in APIs, including JWT, OAuth2 or equivalent mechanisms.
- Management of Git and good collaborative work practices.
- Knowledge of AWS at a basic or intermediate level, especially in services such as EC2, S3, SQS and SES.
- Ability to understand, maintain and improve existing code in medium or high complexity applications.

Valued knowledge:

- Experience in Java and/or C# / .NET.
- Knowledge of architectures based on microservices.
- Experience with WebSockets, Laravel Reverb, Soketi or Pusher.
- Application of SOLID principles, design patterns and good architectural practices.
- Experience with automated tests in PHPUnit.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture, DDD or event-oriented architecture.
- Previous experience in Fintech, payments, banking or transactional systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and container deployment.
- Experience in traceability, technical audit and management of semantic logs.
