At Veloces, a technology company focused on logistics solutions for e-commerce in LATAM. We have an engineering team that develops and maintains our own software products. \nWe are looking for an Android Developer (Kotlin) to join our technology team. As the first project within the position, the selected person will lead the migration of our current mobile application, developed in React Native / Expo, to native Android in Kotlin, guaranteeing functional parity and good performance. Once this stage is completed, the role continues as responsible for the maintenance, evolution and development of new functionalities of the application.\nResponsibilities\nLead and execute the migration of the current application (React Native / Expo) to native Android in Kotlin.\nDesign and maintain the architecture of the native application (MVVM/MVI, Jetpack Compose).\nDevelop new functionalities and provide continuous maintenance to the application once the migration is completed.\nOptimize performance, the stability and user experience of the app.\nIntegrate the application with the backend services and APIs.\nPerform unit and integration tests.\nDocument the architecture, code and development processes.\nCollaborate with the backend, QA, support and product teams.\nParticipate in agile planning and monitoring ceremonies.\nRequirements:\nTechnician, technologist or professional in Systems Engineering or related.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in native Android development with Kotlin.\nSolid knowledge in Jetpack Compose, MVVM/MVI architecture and Coroutines/Flow.\nExperience in React Native / Expo.\nManagement of version control (Git).\nExperience consuming REST APIs.\nKnowledge of relational and non-relational databases.\nExperience in publishing and managing applications on Google Play Store.\nAdditionally valued will be:\nPrevious experience in migration processes from hybrid to native applications.\nExperience with good automated testing practices on Android.\nWe offer:\n 6 to 8 million pesos depending on experience.\n Participation in a high-impact technical project (complete migration of an app\nin production).\nEngineering team with its own software products.\nAre you interested?
