Looking for a professional to design and build performance-oriented, conversion-oriented online stores for global brands. The role requires transforming prototypes into interactive digital experiences and optimizing the user experience across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design and build online stores for global brands.
Convert Figma prototypes into interactive and responsive Shopify themes with thoughtful design.
Improve static designs through microinteractions, animations, and user interface improvements.
Make key front-end decisions that impact core web metrics, user engagement and conversion rates.
Test and optimize online stores to ensure speed and compatibility with different browsers.
Work alongside UI/UX designers and marketing teams to create meticulously designed customer touchpoints.
Requirements:
Expert level in Shopify Liquid, custom theme architecture and Theme Kit/CLI.
Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS/Sass.
Demonstrable experience in frontend performance optimization and knowledge of Core Web Vitals.
Professional command of English.
Experience with the Shopify API ecosystem (REST and GraphQL) and developing custom apps for Shopify (e.g. with Node.js) is a plus.
Fluency in French, Spanish, German, Italian or Portuguese is an advantage.
