Roles and responsibilities
Develop and maintain back-end applications in Java with Spring Boot, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Design RESTful APIs and microservices-oriented services, with good security and performance practices.
Configure and manage deployments on AWS, including services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3 and Lambda, among others.
Collaborate in the definition of requirements, estimates and technical architecture together with the product and development teams.
Participate in code reviews, automated testing and quality assurance (CI/CD).
Collaborate in the migration of loads to the cloud and optimization of operating costs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, documentation and good development practices.

Profile and required skills
We are looking for a Java Developer with solid experience in Spring Boot and AWS, results-oriented and with the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate must possess:
Demonstrable experience in back-end development with Java and Spring Boot framework.
Advanced knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation).
Experience in designing RESTful APIs, microservices and scalable software architecture.
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and handling of ORM (Hibernate / JPA).
Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and code quality orientation.
Ability to work as a team, communicate ideas clearly, and adapt to changes in scope.
Proactive spirit, initiative to learn and share knowledge.
Previous projects in cloud environments, experience in regulated sectors and knowledge of agile methodologies will be valued.

Desirable but not required
Experience with container and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud security practices, and experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). Knowledge of basic front-end (React, Angular) to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Certifications in AWS (Solutions Architect, Developer) will be considered a plus.
