Job Description

At World Office Colombia we are looking for Semi Senior .NET Developers to support the implementation of code in a technological migration project from Microsoft Access (VBA) to .NET Framework libraries (DLL) consumed from Access, using SQL Server with Dapper and LINQ.
The role is focused on development and implementation, working under guidelines defined by Architects and Technical Leaders.
This position is not oriented towards web development.
Responsibilities
- Implement business logic in the .NET Framework (C#).
- Migrate functionalities from VBA to .NET components.
- Develop data access using Dapper.
- Use of LINQ for data manipulation, transformation and validation.
- Consumption of stored procedures and parameterized queries in SQL Server.
- Adjust .NET methods for correct consumption from Access (VBA).
- Support functional testing and bug fixes.
- Document the implemented functionalities in a basic way.

Technical requirements
Mandatory
- 3+ years of development experience with C# / .NET Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Dapper.
- Use of LINQ.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience implementing business logic.
- Git management.
- Ability to work with legacy code.

Desirable
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and VBA.
- Experience in maintenance or migration of existing systems.
- Familiarity with DLL development or consumption of external components.

Work methodology / Technical culture
- Development actively assisted by Artificial Intelligence tools (for example, GitHub Copilot or others).

- The developer is expected to use AI as support in their daily work flow, always maintaining technical criteria, code validation and understanding of the implemented solution.
- Work guided by Architecture and Technical Leaders.
- Focus on stability, compatibility and code quality.
