Job Description

- Modality: 100% remote (residence in Chile mandatory)
- Project: March to August (6 months, without possibility of extension)
- +3 years of experience in the role

Role objective:
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join a security and authentication project, participating in the development of backend services, integration of APIs and orchestration of authentication flows, under regulatory and security standards.

Main functions:
- Design, develop and maintain REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement backend logic for orchestration of authentication factors.
- Integrate SDKs and authentication orchestrator services.
- Develop status management logic and regulatory validations.
- Manage error management, traceability and logs.
- Implement fallback mechanisms in the event of external service failures.
- Participate in integration tests and technical validations.
- Ensure compliance with backend security standards (OWASP).
- Collaborate with frontend and security teams to ensure correct integrations.

Technical requirements (Backend):
- Java 8 or higher
- Spring Boot / Spring Framework
-Maven
-Log4j/Logger
- Design and creation of REST APIs
- Integration with REST / SOAP services
- Knowledge of databases (modeling, DDL and DML)
- Experience in unit testing
- Hexagonal Architecture
- Microservices Architecture
- Use of Git (Bitbucket)
- Management of Jira and Confluence

Cloud & AWS (required):
- Experience consuming AWS services, ideally:
-API Gateway
-Lambda
- S3
- CloudWatch
- SQS/SNS

Project conditions:
- Closed 6-month project (March–August).
- 100% remote work, with mandatory residence in Chile.
