It is the largest transactional e-commerce site in Chile
. There, public services make their purchases through almost 2 million purchase orders a year, for more than 16 billion dollars, allowing business opportunities for more than 120 thousand suppliers.
Therefore, our service is critical for the functioning of the State of Chile.
Currently, we are promoting a strategy of
modernization to generate greater efficiency in purchases and public spending
, through the renewal of platforms and services such as the framework agreement store in Magento and new systems that facilitate decision making, monitoring and evaluation of purchasing processes. This transformation includes the move from a traditional architecture based on a physical data center and monolithic systems, towards a multi-cloud software architecture, with both physical and cloud backups.

The role focuses on
design and implement products for the public procurement platform, solving the needs of the business, users (internal and external) and adjusting to the institutional guidelines and values within the framework of the Program to Improve the Quality of Expenditure in Public Procurement
. To do this you must:
Advise, create and proactively implement solutions in the projects in which you participate.
Know in depth the business rules or processes that are based on user needs.
Evaluate the technical feasibility of each solution proposal and propose implementation alternatives.
Carry out the analysis, design, development, testing, putting into production and operation of the solutions.
Develop or reuse Back-end and/or Front-end cloud software components based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Build documentation that allows communicating the technical aspects of each implemented solution.
Protect the integrity of all artifacts built using the repositories defined by the institution.
Participate in internal and external multidisciplinary work teams.
Incorporate additional technological aspects that contribute to enriching product development at the software architecture level.
Automate processes and/or incorporate tools for the development and implementation of products
Create and disseminate policies and documentation associated with the development of solutions.

Professional title obtained from a career of at least 8 semesters in the field of Computer Engineering or related career, from an institution recognized by the State of Chile
Minimum work experience required:
At least 2 years participating in software development teams under agile methodologies in public or private organizations.
Desirable work experience:
Experience in cloud software development, either front-end and/or back-end.

Minimum knowledge:
- Front (React) and back end (Java, Spring boot) programming languages
- .NET programming language (C#, VB.NET)
- Software implementation methodologies and tools (infrastructure as code, packaging tools, distribution, configuration, monitoring)
- Cloud Services
Desirable knowledge:
- English intermediate level B1 (CEFR)

The position has a
gross monthly income corresponding to $2,707,000.-
The contracting method is
fees until December 31, 2026.
Continuity associated with performance and duration of the Public Expenditure Quality Improvement Program
(estimated duration of the program until December 31, 2028)
.
The work modality is
hybrid, with greater presence at first and then 2 days of presence a week.

15 days of vacation plus 6 days of leave
administrative staff with pay,
annually (which will be granted proportionally to the date of incorporation).
