Job Description

We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer with experience in the design, development, maintenance and optimization of solutions on Oracle databases.\nIn this role you will have the opportunity to work on business solutions that require stability, quality and good performance. You will participate in the complete development cycle, from requirements analysis and construction of PL/SQL components to testing, deployment, incident attention and application evolution.\nWhat will be your mission?\nDesign and maintain robust, efficient and sustainable database components, converting functional needs into quality technical solutions. You will also support process optimization, problem diagnosis and continuity of existing solutions.\nMain responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain solutions using PL/SQL and Oracle Database.\nCreate, modify and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views.\nDevelop medium and high complexity SQL queries.\nAnalyze and optimize PL/SQL queries, components and processes.\nReview execution plans and identify opportunities for improvement in the performance.\nPerform debugging and troubleshoot issues associated with the database layer.\nAnalyze functional and technical requirements to convert them into implementable solutions.\nEstimate and execute development, remediation and maintenance activities.\nCreate and execute unit tests.\nValidate the quality, integrity and performance of developments.\nParticipate in post-release deployments, implementations and validations.\nDocument components, changes, configurations and solutions implemented.\nManage code through repositories and version control tools.\nProvide corrective and evolutionary support to existing applications.\nPerform root cause analysis on errors or performance degradations.\nWork in a coordinated manner with development, QA, architecture and functional areas teams.\nParticipate in ceremonies, estimates and monitoring activities under Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nApply good development, security, documentation and control practices. changes.\nIndispensable requirements\nProfessional experience developing solutions with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.\nMastery of SQL and ability to develop medium and high complexity queries.\nExperience with stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views.\nPractical knowledge of debugging and resolving issues in databases.\nExperience optimizing PL/SQL queries and processes.\nAbility to interpret functional requirements and convert them into solutions techniques.\nExperience performing unit tests and validating developments.\nManagement of repositories and version control tools.\nExperience participating in deployments or implementations.\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nAbility to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.\nResidence and authorization to work in Colombia.\nConditions of the opportunity\nModality: 100% remote.\nLocation: Colombia.\nType of contract: indefinite term.\nSalary: Range COP $4,000,000 - COP $4,800,000",
