# Junior Graphic Designer – Creative and Illustration – Remote

**Modality:** 100% remote from Colombia

**Experience:** Approximately 6 to 12 months

We are a company that designs and manufactures contemporary products and souvenirs that develops graphic collections for tourist destinations, stores and clients mainly in Europe.

We are looking for a **Junior Graphic Designer with an artistic and creative profile**, very good visual judgment and practical experience using artificial intelligence tools within design and image creation processes.

The main focus will be the **creation of graphic pieces, illustrations and collections applied to products**. We are not looking for a profile focused solely on corporate design, social networks or traditional advertising.

## What will you do?

* Create original illustrations and graphic pieces for new collections.
* Develop visual concepts from briefings and references.
* Explore styles, compositions, color palettes and graphic resources.
* Create designs applicable to physical products.
* Develop variations while maintaining visual coherence.
* Adapt designs to different destinations, products, sizes and formats.
* Adjust color, composition, typography, proportions and readability.
* Prepare final files for production.
* Create mockups and product presentations.
* Correctly organize files, versions and resources.
* Participate in the exploration and development of new visual lines.
* Use artificial intelligence to support ideation, references, variations and creative development.

## Artificial intelligence

It is important to have **hands-on experience using AI applied to design and visual creation**.

We are interested in someone who has used these tools to:

* Create references or moodboards.
* Generate variations of an idea.
* Explore styles and compositions.
* Generate or transform images.
* Support illustration processes.
* Develop creative alternatives more quickly.

We are not looking for programming or automation experience.

Yes, we are looking for a person capable of using AI as a creative tool, always maintaining **our own visual criteria to evaluate, correct and improve the results**.

Experience with ChatGPT, image generators or other AI-based creative platforms will be an advantage.

## Experience

We are looking for approximately **6 to 12 months of experience**, which can come from:

* Professional experience or internships.
* Freelance projects.
* Featured academic projects.
* Personal projects with a solid portfolio.

**The portfolio will have more weight than the years of experience or the academic title.**

## Tools

It is important to manage:

*Adobe Illustrator.
*Adobe Photoshop.
* AI tools applied to visual design and creation.

Experience with Procreate, InDesign, mockups, preparation of files for printing, design applied to products, packaging, editorial design or pattern creation will be additionally valued.

It is not necessary to master all of these tools.

## Portfolio

The portfolio is essential in the selection process.

We are especially interested in seeing work by:

* Illustration.
* Posters and graphic composition.
* Editorial design.
* Packaging.
* Patterns.
* Branding with a strong graphic component.
* Design applied to product.
* Personal projects with their own visual identity.

We want to understand how you use **color, composition, shape, typography and illustration**, and your ability to create images with personality.
