Job Description
We are looking for a Professor with a Doctorate in Public Safety, to join our academic staff.
Main responsibilities
Design, update and teach academic content on subjects related to Public Security, crime prevention, security policies, applied criminology, crime analysis and justice system.
Teach classes, seminars, workshops and Master Classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Provide personalized advice, direction and academic support in research and degree projects.
Actively participate in academic projects, applied research, recordings, publications and institutional events.
Provide academic follow-up to students and participate in synchronous sessions.
Collaborate in processes of continuous improvement, academic innovation and strengthening of educational programs.
What we are looking for
Academic training:
Doctorate in Public Security (essential).
Experience in investigation, security analysis, crime prevention, law enforcement or institutional management in security matters is desirable.
Additional requirements:
Residence in Puebla (essential).
Availability during the week for academic activities and institutional meetings (in-person and/or virtual).
Competencies
Clear, analytical and pedagogical communication.
Critical thinking and ability to analyze criminal phenomena and security problems.
Experience in academic mentoring and accompaniment to graduate students.
Orientation to results, academic quality and continuous improvement.
Ability to link theory with practice in the field of public security.
