Job Description \nWe are looking for a highly organized Billing Specialist with an excellent level of communication to manage patient billing processes, resolve queries and guarantee accuracy in the review of claims and collection of payments.\n\nVacancy Conditions \nSchedule: Afternoon shift (1:00 PM 5:00 PM EST).\nLocation: 100% in-person work at our offices in Bogotá, Barranquilla or Cali.\nProficiency level English: Advanced (C1)\n\nMain Responsibilities \nPatient Care: Respond and resolve billing inquiries over the phone, providing clear and timely follow-up.\nClaims Management: Review insurance claims to ensure accurate balances (copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance).\nPayment Processing: Collect payments from patients and process transactions securely.\nBilling: Generate and distribute invoices and receipts. based on the patient's direct expenses.\nDaily Audit: Perform collection audits reviewing patient visits vs. invoices issued to ensure that all billable encounters are up to date.\nPartner Support: Assist in billing partners by auditing admission tickets and referral sources.\nCompliance: Maintain accurate billing records in accordance with company policies.\n\nRequired Profile \nEducation: Academic bachelor's degree (preferably with technical or professional studies in health administration or finance).\nLanguage: C1 English Level\nExperience: Previous experience in medical billing, healthcare administration or related fields preferred.\nKnowledge: Familiarity with insurance terms (copayments, deductibles, coinsurance).\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in billing systems and basic computer applications.\n\nHow to apply? \nIf you meet the profile and are looking for an opportunity in a professional and dynamic environment, apply your updated CV by this means.
