We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to support the implementation and operation of the
data governance model, ensuring availability, integrity, security and
data traceability in cloud environments and analytics platforms. This role is key to

Implement and operate data governance processes focused on analytics, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and guidelines.
Participate in the design and implementation of secure data architectures in AWS, Snowflake and/or Databricks, plus tools such as Power BI.
Support the management and maintenance of technical and business metadata, through data catalogs and glossaries.
Collaborate in the implementation of data quality management and incident remediation tools and processes.
Participate in the definition and management of roles, access profiles and security policies on analytical databases and defined consumption media.
Work with security, compliance and cloud teams to prevent and mitigate data security risks and incidents.
Document data flows, access policies, quality rules, and business data definitions.
Maintain traceability of the data life cycle, from its origin to its use in reports or analytical models.

Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Systems, Economics, Sociology or related fields.
2-4 years of experience in data roles, with a focus on data governance, data quality, or data architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, Snowflake and Databricks, plus business intelligence tools such as Power BI
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks that govern data security and privacy in Peru, in addition to GDPR.
Fundamentals of data management frameworks (DMBoK, CDMC or others), desirable data security (ISO27001).
Knowledge of SQL, data modeling and data integration tools (ETL/ELT)
Experience or knowledge in data governance tools (data catalog and data quality management) is desirable.
Ability to document and communicate technical and business concepts clearly.
Detail orientation, technical rigor and focus on continuous improvement.
Good disposition for collaborative work with technology, security and business areas.
