Job Description

Aptivia Technology Consulting is looking for a professional to provide support to the Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 12c platform in production, for a client in the mining industry in Chile.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and address alerts on Oracle OSB 12c / WebLogic 12c platform
Perform incident troubleshooting, including: Analysis of ODL logs, Diagnosis of OSB pipelines, Review of Business Services and Proxy Services
Run Memory Heap and Garbage Collector tuning (JVM 1.8)
Manage controlled restarts of nodes in WebLogic cluster
Execute deploy and undeploy processes in QA and Production environments
Create and manage DataSources and JMS modules
Back up configurations and administration scripts
Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of the platform

Training and experience:
Engineering degree with computer science.
At least 3 years of experience in Oracle SOA Suite / OSB 12c platform administration
Availability for rotating shifts and on-call guards (includes nights and weekends)
Oracle Certification in SOA Suite / OSB

Technical knowledge:
Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 12c: administration, configuration and troubleshooting
WebLogic Server 12c: clusters, AdminServer, Managed Servers, logs
JVM / JDK 1.8: analysis of heap, GC and stuck threads
REST and SOAP services: endpoint diagnostics
JMS – Queue Management and Messaging
XQuery: Understanding Transformations in OSB
Interpretation of ODL logs and diagnosis of integration flows
Tools: WebLogic Console and Enterprise Manager

Desirable:
Experience with adapters: SFTP, DB Adapter, Amazon S3
Scripting management (Python, Bash, WLST)
